Alabama Bass Federation, Inc., 2015 Al Redding State Championship Tournament

Richard Thi Walker of Tennessee Valley Bass Club, claimed the honors of Alabama Bass Federation, Inc., State Champion by winning the Al Redding State Championship Tournament, Lake Guntersville, Scottsboro, AL. Richard with weight of 40.62. Walker also took big fish hos for both days of the tournament with weights of 6.52 and 6.99. Finishing second place was Jason Hester of Tennessee Valley Bass Club with 36.96, third was Justin Marbut of Shotgun Sports Supply and Scap Cicero of Alabama Ranger Club finished in fourth. By placing in the top four of the tournament, Walker, Hester, Marbut and Cicero earned positions as anglers on the Alabama State Team.
Robbie Pelt, of Alabama Ranger Club, Bill Spicer of Shotgun Sports Supply, Taylor Watkins of Locust Fork Bassmasters and Richard Payne of Coosa River Hookers were the top four anglers of the Angler Division of the Angler of the Year Standings and will be anglers on the State Team. Tony South of Tennessee Valley Bass Club, Nathan Rowe of Coosa River Hookers, Allen Henry of North Alabama Tournament Anglers and Walter Orr of Coosa River Hookers were the top four co-anglers of the Co-Angler Division of the Angler of the Year Standings and will be co-anglers on the State Team.
Total Boat Weight of Day-1 was claimed by Phillip Lovett of Tennessee Valley Bas club and Mike Crowe of Locust Fork Bassmasters with a combined weight of 26.51. Day-2 Total Boat Weight was seized by Richard Thi Walker, of Tennessee Valley Bass Club and Jason Blackmon of Coosa River Hookers with 30.38.
Of the Clubs that participated in the Club Team Competition Tennessee Valley Bass Club had the heaviest team total for both days of competition with a total weight of 115.86. Team members were Michael Briggs, Shannon Briggs, Robby Lamar, Phillip Lovett, Rocky Rockhill and Richard Thi Walker.
Of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Team, Robbie Pelt of Alabama Ranger Club was the top finisher of the team members and will receive a $500.00 bonus provided by Airport Marine.
Jason Hester of Tri-County Bassmasters, Scap Cicero of Alabama Ranger Club and Donald Hill Jr of Shotgun Sports Supply were the top finishers of the tournament participating in the Ranger Cup and will be receiving bonus money from the Ranger Cup program.
